Blastworks (Wii):
... one of the weirdest Sh mups you re ever likely to play, certainly the most customisable, Blast Works is a true indie title, one that grew up on PC and was reworked for the Wii. Imagine you re a block of Lego (As you do) and everything you walk into sticks to your brick like form, firing out bullets in whatever angle it stuck to you. Now imagine you re a flying Lego brick, and those things you re walking int... Read the full review: Sticky Bricky Blastathon by SlyRobot |

Wacky Races: Crash & Dash (Wii) ... Is it just me or in seemingly no time at all there is millions of Wii games available? I remember not that long ago Wii sports was all the rage but mainly because there was little other choice of games. Now I often scan the shelves to see lots of games that look absolutely dreadful yet Wacky Races Crash and Dash had some sort of appeal. Brief History The original cartoon series ran from 1968 to 1970 making it a favourite with the older generation but thanks to cartoon network in the 1990s I came across its existence. The main plot of the cartoon was that Dick Dastardly and his dog sidekick Mutley would be leading the race but always had to set a trap fo... Tomb Raider Underworld (Wii) ... really couldn t wait to get this game and when my partner bought me it for christmas I couldn t wait to get it out of the packaging and get playing. I really enjoyed playing the game until I found a pretty major glitch in it, I found that when you come to a door of any kind if you walk to the side of the door and repeatedly jump towards the corner of the door you can actually jump through the wall and end up on the other side! On a couple of occasions this didn t really help as I needed to use my motorbike to jump over some ramps, but still this was a major issue. The gameplay is also dreadfully short with not much to keep you going for long. I feel that if the gamepla... Read the full review: Hmmm by hainesash |

Tomb Raider Underworld (Wii) ... have been a fan of Lara Croft ever since her days on the Playstation and so was really excited to try out a game making use of the wii remote. The game gets off to a bit of a slow start, I did find the introduction / tutorial quite confusing when compared to the good old days where you completed an assualt course in Croft Manor. Once the game had got going though I was soon hooked and unable to put the controller down. For a tombraider game the puzzles really weren t too bad to work through and although the controls had their tempremental moments which lead to some unplanned demises for Lara, I thoroughly enjoyed working my way through this game. There are two... Read the full review: Good to see Lara back and in a new interactive format on the wii by emmasurveys |
