Wii Sports Resort incl. Wii Motion Plus (Wii) ... deciding whether or not to buy this game you re going to want to know if the wii motion plus is as accurate as it advertises and if it actually makes gameplay more fun than the original. But due to the 12 varied activities, the game is a mixed bag. There are a lot of activities in this game which get quite tedious and repetitive. Basketball has you just raising the wiimote and thrusting it forward repeatedly. Cycling has you just shaking the wiimote and nunchuck in unison to gather momentum. It s these games you won t be playing very often. There are also a few games that are fun, but don t use the wii motion plus very well. Wakeboarding was simply tilting the wiim... Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) ... I m loving this! Mr Neenaw has been recommending me to try Super Mario Galaxy for a while now, and he was right! I m not always such a bit action game fan - I often prefer strategy type stuff, but I m beginning to think this is just because I don t really like traditional handsets. Super Mario Galaxy, however, is for the Nintendo Wii, and as such uses the Wii controller + nunchuck, and it s really fun to use. The overall story is that Princess Peach has been kidnapped and Mario is out to rescue her. You travel the galaxies to investigate the different planets, collecting power stars to fuel your search. Wii Motion Plus (Wii) ... is a great follow on game form the orignal Wii Sports and comes with 12 mini games, these include Swordplay (essentially light-sabre style fighting), Wakeboarding (Water Surfing), Frisbee (including Frisbee on a golf course), Archery, Basketball (includes a great 3 vs. 3 game really maximising the Wii to its potential), Table Tennis, Golf, Bowling (Both more technical than the originals due to the Wii Motion Plus, Power cruising (Jet-Skiing), Canoeing (very tiring), Cycling and Air Sports.
