Bubble Bobble Plus (Wii):
... Bobble Plus (BB+) is a remake of a ludicrously addictive 80s arcade game, which has appeared on many home computer consoles over the years. Having been addicted to it in my youth, there was joy unabated in the SWSt household (well, the male part, at least) when an enhanced Wii version was announced. This is where things get a bit confusing. BB+ is downloadable from Nintendo s Wiiware service and offers sever... Read the full review: Bubble Blowing Beasties by SWSt |

De Blob (Wii) ... Blob is a great game - totally different gameplay from your standard fare, great background music (more about this later!), and fun extras. The basic premise is that De Blob s world has been rendered black and white by an inky dictator, and you must bring the colour back (and free the inhabitants) by filling up with paint and bouncing around the scenery. Various bad guys and enemy weapons make your job that little bit more difficult, but some well timed bounces will soon see them off. The background music is quirky and catchy. It starts off very minimalist as you enter each new black and white level, and starts to build as you bring more colour back. It worms its way... Big Brain Academy (Wii) ... this was out on the Nintendo DS it was around the time I was obsessed with buying all sorts of brain train improve your mind type games. I found it to bee really cartoon-like and not very captivating, in fact I was not really impressed at all. To play it on the Wii, nothing much has really changed, obviously there are some Wii specific implementations such as the Wii Degree and different types of challenge now available etc. I think if I was a kid I would probably enjoy the games colours, cartoons and other strange animations a lot more fun and enticing but as someone who wants to improve their brain it did not really seem to be doing the job! I think I may be ... Read the full review: should be called little brain academy by Leonbriggsy |

Big Brain Academy (Wii) ... Brain Academy for the Nintendo Wii is a fun and quirky way to help stimulate your brain. Complete a range of tasks including maths, spot the difference, and memory games. The tasks are split into 5 different categories, compute, analyse, memorise, identify and visualise. Compete against family and friends to see who is the smartest and make the loser do the washing up. Also contains training and an exam style test where you can receive medals based on your achievements and brain score. A huge variety of activities. It s best to do the practice sessions before doing a test to get used to the controls and what is expected of you, but this is a game that you can r...
