... game with so much hype managed to be only average. On the surface this game couldnt bebetter. Blood, samurai swords, guns and the wii controls! However It is obviously rushed. Red Steel (Wii) ... this is one of those misunderstood games that no one wants to try out because amatuer reviewers on games websites play it for half an hour and toss it away. First time i played this, i hated it soo much, i thought that the wii console was only capable of being this fun, i was like ARGH until my friend told me to hold the wii mote properly (LOOOOL) because from his experience, he knew it was kick ass, everything about this game rules from his experiences, and im starting to believe him, because the gameplay makes u active and give you a work out and really includes yu in the game, you axctually feel like running away when people shoot at you lol. Red Steel (Wii) ... this game had everything I wanted, Yakuza, Intrigue and Uzis but pretty soon it stopped being fun. There is very little to this game, formulaic and repetitive, but the gameplay is an interesting idea. The use of, yes, lets call it bullet time because thats what it is, was a good function. Using bullet time you could select a gang boss from the crowd, target his weapon and the whole gang would surrender, nicely done. For me however the game had a number of issues, the first being that as a somewhat addictive natured gamer I was playing for a few hours at a time and I can tell you after a while that controller will piss you off.
