Tozlator Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Wii): ... a massive Harry Potter fan, and also a big fan of gaming, but never the Harry Potter games, i was a little put off by this game when it was first released. However when i then recieved this as a birthday present from my brother i felt i had to play it. To my surprise i found that it was actually rather a fun game! The story line generally follows that of the book, you are Harry Potter and your first task is to...

sambarwell Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Wii)
... bought this from Amazon for £15 and it came today. The game uses the nunchuck controller aswel as the normal Wii controller. I started it up using a small television so it wasn t to good to look at. I created a new game file and started playing, it showed me some cartoon parts of the film and it gets you to cast a spell by waving the controller. You then go in to a room with Serious Black and practice spells, to do these you wave your Will controller in a certain way, and you have to remember these and get them right. As it moves on you find yourself in Hogwarts, which is quite a big place to navigate around on your console, but there are steps to show you which wa...

... I am a big fan of the Harry Potter books and films I had never played any of the previous video games. I bought this one after reading about how well the Wii technology worked with the game. I have to admit to being slightly disappointed though I ll start with the good points. The graphics are good and there is an immense amount of detail involved in recreating Hogwarts for the game which I thought was brilliant. Almost like controlling the movie. The tasks and challenges are sensible and increase in difficulty as you work your way through the game learning new spells and magical skills along the way. As well as the main missions there are a number of mini ...

jacksurvey Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Wii)
... is the latest harry potter game for the wii, and follows up from a line of incredibly succesful games. The wii also has a new control system using the innovative wii remote to cast spells, but is it a good game? The wii controls work very well here, they make it much more realistic and definately entertaining. To cast a speel you have to twist and shake the remote in encentric movements. This system does not get boring either like you might have thought it would because new spells are continually introduced into the game. The disadvantage of this though is that towards the end of the game, when you have learnt many spells, many of the spells can become mixed up. Th...
