pmcds active: Personal Trainer (Wii)
... the beginning of this year, we had ummed and ahhed about getting some kind of keep fit DVD or game to help us with a bit of exercise without having to leave the house. This seemed to be a reliable and worthwhile game, so we decided on this. Straight away, my wife started on it, and was obsessed from the word go . The idea of the game is that you get your own personal trainer oin your living room. All you need is a Wii remote control and a nunchuck (attaches to the remote), and the game supplies the rest, including a leg brace that the nunchuck goes in, and a stretchy resistance band that helps with things like shoulder raises and bicep curls. dippykitty Wii Sports (Wii)
... month I put my Amazon vouchers towards buying a Wii console, and have become a bit addicted to playing on the Wii Sports game that came with it. *What It Is* On Wii Sports, you can play five games: tennis, bowling, baseball, golf and boxing. To play the first four, you only need the Wii Remote that comes with the console, but for boxing, you ll also need to use the nunchuk at the same time to throw the punches. *Playing the games* To play each of the five games, you only need the Wii Remote and for boxing, the nunchuk too. There are various skills needed for the games and they aren t necessarily as easy as they look! Tennis - To hit the ball, you need to move th...

alltruism Wii Fit Plus (Wii)
... ve had Wii Fit Plus for 2 weeks now and am still loving it. There s a great variety of different exercises you can do, which helps stave off boredom once the novelty factor wears off. In the two weeks I ve been using Wii Fit Plus, I ve lost 3lbs. I don t think Wii Fit Plus is directly responsible for the weight loss - the calories I ve burned through the exercises probably only add up to a thousand or so. What Wii Fit Plus does, and does well, is keeping your mind on being healthier. Wii Fit Plus shows a graph of your Body Mass Index (or it can show weight instead), which really helps you stay aware of how you re doing - and makes you aware of an upward trend straigh...
