stuff10 Guinness World Records: The Videogame (Wii): ... World Records is a good idea for a computer game, but is unfortunately rather poorly executed. The game is basically a series of mini games that are based around daft world records that feature in the book, including how many telephone directories you can tear in half, how many cockroaches you can eat and how many toilet plungers you can throw at a woman on a spinning board. The games should be simple to pl...

... guiness book of records has recently jumped on the minigame craze and released this series of games where you try and do crazy things to become a world record holder. There is quite a wide variety of mini games (about 40) and yourself or the whole family can have a go and see who comes out best. They are mostly stunt type games. They are pretty random, like the fastest time to crush a water melon with your head. The game is not limited just to games, you get to travel all over the worl and learn interesting facts and record information about whichever location you end up in. There is an actual chance to end up in the guiness world records as the highest score on thi...

... i first saw that this game was to be released, it was one of those moments where you don t care about the cost, you just want it. I didn t even care what events were to be on it, just the thought of competing in events that are actually in the Guiness Book of Records was fantastic enough for me. When i saw the case on display in my local GAME shop, weeks before it was released, again, i couldn t wait to have it. As i picked up the box and saw the utterly rudiculous games that you could play on there i really couldn t wait; sheep shearing, melon crushing, all sorts of games that you could imagine would be perfect for the Wii. How dissapointed was i then when we fi...

... always wanted to be a Guiness World Record holder, and this game gives you the chance to do that. Virtually of course, you won t get your names in the Guiness World Records book, but you might get the top of the local, national or world wide leaderboard. I think the game is aimed at younger kids, but I m 23 and had loads of fun with this game, as did my mum and shes 44! - Gameplay - The start of the game gives you a chance to create your own character, after which you start on the road to breaking records! There s over 40 mini games available, you only start with a few as you unlock more along your journey around the globe. As you complete the basic games ...
