 ... plot, pretty standard stuff I'm sure you'll agree. As for the gameplay, "Alien Syndrome" is a top-down shooter where you have to blast your way through levels of aliens. It is just as straight forward as the plot in all honesty. However, there are numerous problems with the gameplay. Firstly, aliens will spawn everywhere and I am not exaggerating at all. Straight away, some of you may recognise the name "Alien Syndrome" as the name of the arcade game released by Sega way back in 1987. It wasn't anything impressive, but saw itself ported to numerous consoles in the late 80's and updated in 2004 for the PS2 with better graphics and updated controls. "Alien Syndrome" for the Wii however is not the same game, but in fact a sequel of the same name. The question is; has it got better over time? Graphics The graphics are much better than in 1987; but sadly, don't nearly represent what the Wii is capable of.
