Originally this version was meant to come out in January last year but did not make it into the shelfs until around November.Because of the high rrp (47.99 with wii speak) i didn't buy it until the end of December with my play funds ,was it worth it? i think so.

At the minute this game is still rather expensive and i probably wouldn't have bought it if i hadn't had the playfunds.The gamecube and ds versions are slightly cheaper but i think it is worth paying that little extra for the wii speak and so that you can visit your friends towns and they can visit yours(don't think you can do that on the gamecube)Plus its only a couple of pounds more expensive and you can use the wii control instead of the gamecube wired one.


You arrive in the town(which you can name) in luxury? no wait on a bus and the first thing you do is go to the town hall than pick a house.You get a part time job which lasts a whole of about an hour and then the guy (Tom Nook) tells you that is all he has for you to do and you have to pay the rest of your mortgage (that's right) in what ever way you can. Once you have paid your mortgage you can make your house bigger.
You are now free to do what you want-go fishing,catch animals,digging,visit the town etc
In the town you can get your fortune told,go shopping,see a marquee
Controls are very easy to use in this-this game makes use of the nanchuk
The game is aimed at any ages but i think that all the talking about money etc is more for adults and would just bore children(well it bores adults as well)

One of the things i don't like about the game is that the voices in it are similar to the voices used in big brain academy.

The game itself is set in real time which can be annoying when i put the game on at 3am and all the shops in it are closed-also at the minute it is the middle of winter.

Overall i think that this is a must have for animal crossing fans or people who like mysims or harvest moon as they are quite similar.
