I recently purchased this game after playing the DS game and basically doing everything that was possible within that, so I thought that the new features of this platform would be a new and improved way of wasting a couple of hours!

This version has many new features from the DS game, as instead of everything being able to be in one town like the DS version you are able to visit the town to do things such as getting a haircut. With the same game plot development as the DS game, I was able to start a new and waste a few more hours improving the amount of money I had for my character, collecting fruit and catching fish. Similarly, the game works on real time, so you will be able to watch the seasons change as the time goes on.

Also, when my friends decided to purchase the game including the wii speak we were able to talk to each other throughout the game and have our characters visit each other. This made the game much more improved than in the DS game where you had to talk to each other in small bursts of text.

Overall, I would rate this game highly to anyone looking for a game they can play casually and in short or long bursts. With cute and cartoony graphics, it is a visually pleasing game that can be played of all ages.
