Advantages: Cheap, no extra equipment needed
Disadvantages: lacks the fun of having the guitar-shaped remote
This was the first game I bought for my Wii console as it seemed similar to the Rockstar/guitar hero games but without the expensive hardware prices to add on. Indeed that's exactly what it is! All yu need to play this game is your normal wii remote and the game disc itself which is widely available for under £10. The game allows you to play on your own or against others-although you will need additional wii remotes for each player if you want to play against one another as you all have to complete the tasks at the same time.
The game asks you to choose a band to play as and this determines the style that the music is played in-i.e. there may be one song but it can be played rock style or country style etc. Then you have to play along with the song by moving the wii remote to coincide wit the chords-exactly the same as the guitar hero concept! there are addittion bonuses to be earned but the basics are the same as guitar hero for a quarter of the price-wht a bargain!
Summary: Fun for all ages and abilities
