Advantages: Features everone from the Ben 10 series and my boys love this game.

Disadvantages: Is a little difficult for young children but with help they'll be fine.

Ben 10: Protector of Earth is the latest game being played on the Wii in our house. My 2 little boys aged 5 and 3 absolutely love this game and I kind of have a feeling this is only the beginning of years of having to miss watching Emmerdale and Coronation Street so that they can play on the Wii.

I actually think they are probably too young to play this game and it is recommended for age 7 and over but my husband plays with them and they really enjoy it. As with all Wii games it also requires lots of movement as nobody wants their children sat down in front of the computer. It is actually really entertaining watching them fight the aliens.

The game is a one player but you need to use your Wii remote and the Nunchunk, one to move and one to fight with. So when we play my husband will do the moving and the boys will take it in turns to fight.

To begin with you are just Ben 10 and you have the option to change into either Four Arms or Heatblast. This will mean nothing to someone who doesn't watch Ben 10 but they are two of the aliens that Ben can change into. Throughout the levels you have to go alien and fight all the baddies. Most of these are the same villains that are featured on the television programme.

When you get to the end of a level you have to fight a big villain, for example Gorvan or Vilgax. This is really hard to do and can take ages but once you have defeated him you get rewarded by being able to turn into another alien.

As the game continues you meet further familiar characters and get access to more Ben 10 aliens each with there own skills and fighting powers.

We have not completed the game yet but it has certainly provided hours upon hours of fun. I would recommend this to any Ben 10 fans but if your not familiar with Ben 10 then avoid because it will be no more than a fighting game to you. A good game that features everyone from the Ben 10 series, if you like Ben 10 and have a Wii go out and buy, it costs about £15.

Summary: Another good game for the Wii.
