Premium Review Big Beach Sports (Wii): Not fun like the real beach (358 words)

Big Beach Sports contains six mini games to play from all of the games are played on the beach.Having purchased this for seven pounds on Ebay the price for me was not bad in buying this game but it did not have much fun to be honest. The six mini games are Volleyball, Disc Golf, Cricket, Boules, Football and American football. Volley ...  Read the complete review

Having read the other reviews on the website about this game I'm kind of dissapointed it didn't get rated harder. I really enjoyed playing this game and would say it's a must have if you can find it anywhere for under £10. If not I wouldn't reccomend paying more than £15 for it. This game can be fun when played on your own however it's ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Beach Sports (Wii): Basic game, bit boring and hard to use (218 words)
by - written on 18/05/09 (Somewhat useful, 3 readings)
Rating:

I purchased big beach sports just before christmas to give my family something extra to play on over the break incase the usual wii sports got boring. It also contains a few sports that had been missed out on wii sports such as cricket and volley ball. In all honesty this game is no better than wii sports itself. The main difference is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nintendo Wii Game Big Beach Sports (168 words)
by - written on 15/05/09 (Somewhat useful, 9 readings)
Rating:

This is one of the cheapest wii games we have brought and you can tell why its so cheap. There are 6 different beach games to choose from including cricket, volleyball, golf, bowles, football. I found the cricket game to be the best as its the most realistic. A couple of the games including football are not very realistic at all and considering ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Big Beach Sports (Wii)
by - written on 13/05/09
Rating:

Big Beach Sports

this attempt at bringing togther some popular sports works in some places but falls flat in others.

good:
the frisbee and bowls games are nice with a good difficulty level, the cricket game is fun but a little unresponsive

bad
football game is unplayable, the graphics are really poor and the whole game runs really slowly.

no Wii-Mii integration so you have to make your own characters which is arduos and boring.

a reasonable effort but only buy at bargain bin prices

Premium Review Wii Sports It Ain't (1278 words)
by - written on 17/03/09 (Very useful, 167 readings)
Rating:

After months of begging, cajoling, making rational, logical arguments and a little bit of crying I finally convinced the future Mrs. F. to let us get a Wii, on the basis that as it is not a "hardcore" gaming platform, she could enjoy it too and I wouldn't spend hours on it. Having found a great package of a preowned Wii coming ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Beach Sports (Wii): Big Beach Sports>Wiisports? (267 words)
by - written on 01/03/09 (Useful, 32 readings)

Big Beach Sports, produced by THQ, promised to be a more sophisticated and more intuitive version of the original Wii Sports. With 6 different sports to choose from: Beach Cricket; Beach Soccer; Beach Volleyball; Beach Football; Beach disc golf; Boocce you could argue that THQ have mae the bare minimum for a full retail release game. ...  Read the complete review

Wii BIG BEACH SPORTS - I purchased this game separately to my Wii console and have enjoyed playing it overall, it's not one of those that you rave about to all your mates but it is a game that you will play from time to time. Wii sports is definatly one of the games thats best played with 2 or more players as are so many of the Wii ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Beach Sports (Wii): Fun at the beach (190 words)
by - written on 21/01/09 (Useful, 24 readings)
Rating:

A simple sports game designed for all the family where you can get to design your own character. A small set of sports to choose from my thoughts are as follows: In Volleyball you have full control over both the players and simulates strength very well. Soccer - basically a pass and shoot game where the real skill is trying to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Rather catch some rays (302 words)
by - written on 10/12/08 (Very useful, 90 readings)
Rating:

Bib Beach Sports is fun initially but it lacks staying power and is one of those mini game compilations that does not present enough challenge or variety to keep your interest. I find that this is most enjoyable when played as a pair as you can combine to compete against other teams in the events, in all there are six games, volleyball, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Beach Sports (Wii): Waste of money, disappointing effort (196 words)
by - written on 25/11/08 (Useful, 40 readings)
Rating:

Do not waste your money. Simple. I love the Wii and I understand the concept behind most of the games. Here is a console that for many games you are willing to sacrifice realism, and complicated game play simply for the compensation for using the Wii's unique control system which is fun and accessible for all. However, there are limits and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Wii Sports... but on a beach? (229 words)

I got this game for free when I brought my Wii console awhile ago, but I am glad I din't pay any extra for it. The game isn't very good and the graphics are rubbish. The cartoon game doesn't look good and contain a few bugs. They don't effect the gaming experience but it isn't good when you have to pay full price normally. The game ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Beach Sports (Wii): Maybe for the very young children (161 words)
by - written on 26/10/08 (Useful, 159 readings)
Rating:

This is no wii play or wii sports but then I wasn't expecting too much and since I managed to get hold of one for £14.99 perhaps I shouldn't complain. I bought this for my very young daughter who quite enjoyed it and so have her friends for that matter. they particulary like the summer beach theme all that sand sea, sun. But nevertheless, ...  Read the complete review

As a big fan of the Wii due to active requirement of its games and as i was getting a little bored of wii sports I thought Big Beach Sports would be a good new challenging game for the family as a whole but i was thoroughly disappointed. Big Beach Sports - Fun in the Sun I am a big fan of the Wii. We've had ours now for about 2 years and are still playing it and still getting a lot of enjoyment out of it, especially when we have a big group of friends around for a tournament. I generally just like to play Wii sports because I think it's probably the best game around but ...  Read the complete review

Wii Big Beach Sports game.... The Wii Big Beach Sports was one of two games that were included in the package when we purchased the Wii console from Argos. I was so excited when I saw this game advertised I just had to buy it! The tv trailers looked great, bright colourful graphics, fun to play etc. I was expecting something to rival Wii sport but I was bitterly dissapointed. The first thing you do is customise your character by choosing haur colour clothes etc. This was quite fun to do but the ...  Read the complete review

This is quite a new game for the wii and you can buy it from play.com for only £12.99. Any game at that price has got to be worth getting. To start you have to make a new mii. I have no idea why as we haven't had to do that for any other game of this type. There are six games Volleyball - Quite good you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big beach sports flops (196 words)

Big beach sports was bought following my enjoyment of Wii sports, hoping for some similar game play in a range of different sports. I was very disappointed with the game as the reponsiveness of the remote and wii nunchuck was very poor. I particulalry disliked the volleyball game, being volleyball player myself, as I just had to move the remote ...  Read the complete review
