A rather generic quiz game starring Keith Chegwin

When my friend told me about this game in April, at first I just burst out laughing at the idea of a video game featuring Keith Chegwin. Could it be a platform game in the style of 'It's a knockout'? Or maybe a shoot em up? God forbid it was a Wii adaptation of Keith's ill fated 'naked jungle' show.

Either way, I was certainly intrigued, and the next weekend made a rather impulsive decision in my local games shop, and ended up coming home with a copy of 'Cheggers Party Quiz'.

Within five minutes of putting the game into my Wii and turning on my television, I was already sobering up to the sad truth about my purchase.

Cheggers Party Quiz is just that. A quiz... with Cheggers. There is nothing more to it - no use of the Wii controllers, nothing unique at all... and the most exciting that the questions (which cover the standard areas of TV, music and films) get is a static picture on the screen! It feels like little more than a special feature on a DVD.

And although Cheggers comments were vaguely funny the first time...the lasting appeal is certainly limited!
