First I had Cooking Mama on my Ds and I found the game to be fun and enjoyable that I decided to go and buy the game on the Wii. My boyfriend bought me a Wii console last year for my birthday and he got me some good games to go along with it. I picked up this game for rental after loving it on my friend's DS. It is very fun and will keep you playing for hours but does have some problems. The game has many different options to cook and will make you slice things, turn on the cooker, mix things and combine ingredients. It doesn't teach you the recipies but it still very fun. The graphics are ok but not the best I have seen on the DS. The game has a fun soundtrack and no slowdown so the game runs very well. This is a great game for people of all ages, its fun to do, can also teach some basic cooking methods, it also gives cooking and recipe ideas. The game uses different methods using the wii remote, such as chopping where you have to wave the remote up and down, slicing and stirring using circular mothions with the wii remote. The different methods of cooking are often timed so you have to do the tasks within the time limit, your finishing efforts are also rated with stars.
