Advantages: You get a wide range of characters to choose from and it has a lot of gameplay
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
Dragon Ball Z: Budakai Tenkaichi 3 is the third instalment of the Budokai Tenkaichi series which is published by Namco Bandai. Dragon Ball is a massive franchise that originated from the well known Anime series that has now got several games and a movie included into the DB franchise.
The game includes over 90 playable characters, well over 40 hours gameplay and 10 different game modes. The game graphics are really beautiful and the game is all cel-shaded which shows of the battles and the beautiful scenery (if you bother looking!). If playing with a friend the game has dual-split screen, and for those of you you can never get the hang of pulling off the special combos and moves pressing buttons consecutively with no real rythm seems to work too.
I was a fan of the anime before I played this and I love this game as it has everything you want in a fighter. I think if you take it seriously and try and learn all of the moves on it you will struggle as there is alot of characters but I just ended up playing the majority as Goku or Piccolo and the moves were relatively easy to remember. I believe that this game is definately the best in the series and have ended up playing this both on Wii and PS2 and the experience is only made better playing with the Wii Mote. This game will keep you going for a good while and it has lots of unlockables to keep you amuzed too.
I wouldn't suggest this game for younger children due to the violence and nature of the game, but definately for all of those DB fans out there and also to fighter style gamers as this is definately one to add to the collection.
Summary: Good game that is great in single player mode or for playing with a mate
