Advantages: variable intensity levels

Disadvantages: sometimes frustrating

The Wii active is a great product if you want something a little bit more intense that the wii fit. You do actually work up a sweat when you get involved with the 30 day challenge features. It can also be a little bit frustrating, the controllers have to be in certain positions for some of the exercise, so you lose the natural flow of movement. We have had ours for just over a month and the leg strap is already falling apart, however my husband and i are a little on the large side.

That said it has really improved my overall wellbeing, and it is a great way to ease into a more serious workout. I am on the low intensity level at the moment, but it gradually pushes you out of that zone every so often. The background music isn't too bad, and it's very motivational. The characters look like real people as well.

Summary: a change from heading off to the gym!
