The Wii active is a great product if you want something a little bit more intense that the wii fit. You do actually work up a sweat when you get involved with the 30 day challenge features. It can also be a little bit frustrating, the controllers have to be in certain positions for some of the exercise, so you lose the natural flow of movement. ... Read the complete review

This game is fast, exciting, energetic and great to really get you in shape! Its harder than the wii fit game and if you already have wii fit its great as its compatable with the balance board and makes a nice change from doing wii fit every day. I have asthma and i found it much more strenuous than the wii fit, but after the first few plays on ... Read the complete review

This game is labelled as "A Revolution in Home Fitness" I am not sure I would say that but it is a interesting new idea in the line of get fit games. After playing the Wii Fit Game and quickly realising that it was actually quite gimicky, and that it would never get me really fit, this game is actually quite refreshing. From ... EA Active personal trainer for the Wii is probably the best exercise game on any platform. We purchased this game in march and it is still used everyday. In the box you get the game, leg strap and resistance band. This game is also compatiable with the wii fit balance board but you do not need it to use this game. You get to set your height/weight ... As a working mother, I had despaired of ever finding time to get myself into shape, so when I heard about the release of EA sports Active, I knew I just had to give it a go. There are over 50 different exercises to do, which include cardio workouts, such as running, boxing and tennis, as well as toning exercises, such as lunges, bicep curls, ... Read the complete review

When the Wii active miraculously appeared within my household six weeks ago, I questioned both my older and younger sister whether they had bought it. both answered with a baffled "no", so attention was brought to our mother, who had in fact purchased the wii active for the entire families benefit, proving the age compatability of the ... EA Active is the next Wii fit - with a difference. This game actually works! The game is basically a personal trainer, which takes you through different excercises with the aim of getting fit. It retails for around £40 in the shops, but can be slightly cheaper online. The game comes with a few accessories, a leg band and a ... Read the complete review

Fanfare please. Why thank you and would you kindly take your seats as I prepare for my 50th (tada) review. First things first I must confess to being a bit of a doughnut. I typed in EA Active in the search bar and was rewarded with a big fat zero. I was quite amazed and thought it was sure to be on here. So, venturing bravely into ... Read the complete review

The Wii Fit has been a hugely popular game, coming with it's famous Wii Balance Board players were doing combinations of balancing exercises, yoga, muscle training and cardio workouts. However, whilst this sounded good, people who were looking for a strong workout may have been disappointed. Wii Fit is fun... but didn't have continous workouts ... Read the complete review

This is the latest Nintendo Wii game to help fitness and is fun. For anybody who has bought a Wii Fit this game is an excellent add on as you can use your Wii Fit board with the game. The game is priced at £34.99 in many shops but I have seen it for both £39.99 and £44.99 so just be carful not to pay over the odds for the game. This ... Read the complete review

well I have just completed a 30 day workout program and I must say I feel really good about this. Although I have not lost more than 1-2lbs I feel great. I had a problem with the band that is supplied and indeed after 3 weeks it broke. I have yet to find out how hard this will be to replace. The personalised workouts are really quite good as ... Have owned this since release day and brought it for the sole reason as i've always enjoyed EA's releases and found it intriguing to see what they had to offer in this rather popular category. Upon first impressions i found that the interface on the menus looked rather confusing but this was soon overcome by the tiem i had entered my ... Read the complete review

I am a sucker for advertising. Saw the advert, wanted it, bought it. I have only had it for a week and I wouldn't call it a game! It is not something you would invite your friends over to play as such! Initially my husband and I tried it out by working out together. This was ok but with only one resistance band (which I think will snap ... Read the complete review

I've been using this for a fortnight now, which I think has given me enough chance to get a feel for it, though some of the novelty is still there - but if I slack off it's my own fault! I don't have Wii Fit, which people are probably more familiar with, but my understanding is that this is more cardio-focused and less about balance and ... Read the complete review
