Advantages: Cool shoot controls,

Disadvantages: No career mode,

The fifa 2008 game for the wii is quite good, but unfortunately it doesn't compare to the other two consoles versions of the games. I have now owned it for 5 months.

The graphics are slightly better than previous versions of the game, in comparison the ps3's graphics in fifa are stunning. The camera views and player features are ver similar to the ps2's 2007 and 2008 fifa games. But then again this is not the wii's strong point.

The controls are the thing that are hard to grasp when thinkinh of a fifa game for wii. Nintendo has done as well as they can with the controls but in reality they were never really designed for fifa. Skills are very tricky without the inclusion of a second anologue stick. The only advantage of this though is the shoot function, which is cleverly done by flicking the wii remote up or down.

Other than the controls the gameplay remains similar to that of previous fifa games.

Really annoyingly there is no career mode on this game, what the hell was the point in doing that nintendo? I have no idea why there is no career mode and it comprimises the single player mode greatly.

If you must have fifa then by all means buy this game. I definately think though that the best sports game for the wii is madden 07 or 08 even if you're not into american football that much.

Summary: Get madden instead
