One of the greatest games I have ever played. It's easy to use combat combined with the intense plot makes this game very desirable. A long lasting war between different countries and civilizations quickly suck you into the game. You play as all the different countries at some point and learn each of their stories and watch as they all merge together to create an exciting ending. The game's simple battle system makes the game easy to learn but it can be challenging at times. As you progress through the game, your characters begin to perish and once gone, they do not come back which makes the game more challenging and sometimes frustrating but also gives the game a unique touch. With many different difficulty settings it can be good for hardcore or just casual gamers. The game has everything necessary for any type of gamer. It is also a sequel to a game cube game but it can easily be played without knowing what happened before because most of the character's are introduced in that game. The game also has a lot of replay value because it can be somewhat challenging to complete it on all difficulties. I recommend this game to anyone over the age of 12.
A tactical RPG
Story; After Dain (the enemy country in the last game) has been conqcured in the last game by Crimea another bigger country has taken over because Crimea lacks men, the new country is abusing the people so a group of rebels decide to go to the king and it turns out some evil dude i trying to make a world war (in medievel times) to awaken a powerful godess to destroy everything to start again. So they band together with the heros of the last game which killed dain to destroy the evil genrals and the Goddess.
Gameplay:Youn use around 15 people on a area which can include fortresses and the like and during your turn you move each one and if your next to someone you can attack them, you attack first with your equipped item then they attack back and if you win enough battles to get experience you upgrade and often master a new weapon and sometimes you can choose, although if one of your troops dies theyre gone forever, ever ever eh eh, under my...Anyway when you finish there is almost nothing to do and you cant go back through the levels unless you do a new game so it has almost no replay value whatsoever. You can also buy weapons and during fights if you talk to certain enemy soldiers you can recruit them. Also through the game you use 2 different partys of people and the rebels are absoulutely terreble and you only get to combine them with your other group near the very end, the final level is also the easyest, just thought you might care, because for me i was annoyed because the credits took me longer to get through.
Graphics:The fights are quite detailed but the battleground isnt particuly HD
Attacks:Theres more or less every weapon you can think of exept clubs but there magic which looks nice.
I got this game a month ago not really expecting to much. H aving not played any of the previous fire emblem games i did a bit of reasearch and found the feed back very positive. This game is a stratergy rpg and really is a great game. The story is a bit slow and sometimes can be drawn out but you can skip these whenever you want. The amount of eguiping and leveling up is quite large and you can collect and use around 50 charcters. Some of these charcters are hidden and you have to fufill certain tasks. This is a definate must buy game for rpg stratergy fans and for £20 pounds your definatly getting your money worth. The game has agood replay value with additional charcters obtained on futher play throughs. The game is around 50-60 hours long and that is with a lot of the movie scenes being skipped.
