Advantages: A couple of the games can be OK, but only with friends

Disadvantages: Poor graphics, and simply bad mini-games

After recently buying a Nintendo Wii, I was really excited to play 'Game Party' after playing many hours on 'Wii Sports', and much too my surprise I was left bitterly disappointed. All of the mini-games are poorly controlled and lack entertainment value, very much unlike 'Wii Sports'. All that is required to play all of these games is a Wii remote.

The worse of the seven mini games is without a doubt 'Trivia'. They obviously didn't think about making this mini-game appealing for all audiences as many of the questions are challenging for adults, let alone children! Due to this, I got bored of this game after a few attempts, especially as the same questions were being repeated. 1/10
The air hockey game is absolutely horrendous, the controlling for this game is so bad that I am finding it difficult too find a good point about this mini-game. Well I can't, so onto the next mini-game..... 3/10

I don't have to explain the darts game too you as it follows the rules of professional darts. You use the wii remote and throw it in a dart action, the difficult part is throwing the dart on the triple 20, or even on the 20. Controlling is much too difficult. 3/10
The idea of 'Hoop Shoot' (basketball) is too score as many times as possible in a period of time just by flicking the wii remote. I disliked this mini-game and got bored almost instantly as there isn't any skill required, just pure luck. 4/10

On the other hand there were a couple of OK mini games....
Ping Cup is a fairly fun game, but only with 2 players. The idea is too remove all your cups off the table by throwing ping-pong balls into them before your opponent does. Controls are OK after a few games practice. 6/10

Shuffleboard is also a good game but again only with 2 players. 6/10

Overall I will give this game a 5/10
Buy Carnival Games instead!
