Guiness World Records the video game is a game I am quickly becomming obsessed with it was released in 2008 and has been sitting patiently on my shelf all these years waiting to be played, anyway a couple of weeks ago the time had come. I was looking for a game that would bring my boyfriend away from his ps3 and as he likes a competition I thought this game would be perfect.
The game itself consists of many different mini games 36 in total which are all based on world records here are a few of my favourites:
Worlds longest finger nails - for this game you have to follow a dot on the screen along a line the screen moves and you have got to keep a steady hand in order to follow the line making the nail grow and making sure it does not break. Now this may sound simple but believe me it is not and the first time we played it it had us hooked for 1 hour as we tried to beat each others scores it is definatley a game for the competitive the aim of the game is to beat the world record which is set on your game the thing is once we had done that we made the mistake of updating the world records through the wii wi-fi connection which resulted in us finding that our pathetic score was actually a mear quarter of the most recent world record for this game. But you know what this made us more determined to go on. Once updated the game also tells you the regional reord so you can see the score that others in your area have got it also gives a national score and the the world record. This score system is the same for all the mini games.
Most plungers thrown - here you have to flick the wii remote as quick as you can whilst a lady on a weel spins round for every flick of the remote a plunger comes but you have got to be careful not to hit the lady else it is going to slow down your score. Again this one had us crazely competting to the point where I could do no more because my arm was burning from the flicking action lol.
Most tattooed- On this one you are the tattoo artist and a picture flasehes up and you use your remote to pick your colour and tattoo the picture before the time runs out. This one requires a steady hand and its important to try not to panic as the clock starts ticking this one is a calmer game than the previous one but I still just want to keep playing to be the best.
Fastest time to sheer sheep - Here you have to use your remote to hook and catch a sheep then you have to sheer it and choose another one the quickest score wins.
Most bugs eaten - here you have to capture cockroaches with your remote and then pop it in the persons mouth and shake your nunchuck another arm burner with this one.
These are but a few of the great games available you can play with up to 4 people at a time and can customize the people so everyone has there own player make sure you do this before you start the game though else the characters score will be saved under the name iven to the character and not under your own and you don't want that. I think this game is great for getting people together but beware you will get arm ache. This game can be picked up for as little as £7 online now as it is so old I am just sorry I didn't play it before now 5 stars from me.
Summary: A great fun game
