Advantages: lots of fun for all people

Disadvantages: requires a lot of time to become really good.

this is possibly one of the best wii game i have encountered. it has a role for all types of people; singers, guitarists and those who just love to hit things, drummers! ! !. there is a vast amount of songs to unlock. there is also a continuous update of songs that you can download off of the internet. these are mostly classics and brand new releases that are at the top of the charts. i have recently discovered the 'Music Studio' which is where you are able to recreate songs that have already been made, or even compose your own from scratch. once you have done this you are able to upload them onto the internet for other people to download. you are also able to download theirs aswell. as with most wii games, the graphics aren't much to brag about, however, as you are mainly focused on the notes that are coming up on screen, the graphics do not make a large difference to your overall gaming experience. unlike the previous editions of guitar hero there are five levels of difficulty; begginer, easy, medium, hard and expert. the addition of begginer really is or who it says it is. with this you can concentrate simply on the timings of the notes rather than the actual notes you are playing. this is great for smaller children that wish to play the game. the sound quality of the game greatly varies with the sound system you are using. the quality from my average television in my living room is sufficient for a casual gaming experience. finally, the price of the complete band pack is very reasonable considering you are getting the game its self, a guitar controller, a drum-kit controller and and microphone.
