Guitar Hero World Tour, Rocking or Recycled? (Guitar Hero: World Tour Band Bundle (Wii))

Advantages: Full Band Experience Disadvantages: Poor DLC The newest installment of Guitar Hero is here! But this time, you get to play with the whole band! Guitar Hero has become a household name since the first edition back in 2005 and the series doesn't seem to be leaving our houses any time soon. All previous incarnations of the famed Guitar Hero series have been solely focussed around the Guitar/Bass, but not any more. The entire band is used this time, including; Drums, and Vocals. The band can consist of up to 4 members using one of each of the plastic instruments we've come to love. The game has new songs which are more catered towards the band experience rather than just the guitar like previous installments. Some of the 'better' songs include; "Crazy Train", "Everlong", "Eye of the Tiger". World Tour also includes the addition of DLC (downloadable content) which means you can add even more songs to the 86 song library which the game already boasts. The game overall is great. The inclusion of the new instruments adds a new dimension to a perhaps, 'dwindling' Guitar Hero franchise. The DLC is however poor, in comparison to certain other full-band games. The game is definately worth buying, so you can jam out as your favourite rockstar in the comfort of your own living room. Summary: Great Game, Worth the Money for the Full Band. |
