Advantages: Plenty of songs

Disadvantages: Poor graphics and song choices

I managed to pick up the Guitar Hero World Tour bundle after finding it on offer for £39.99 at Morrisons in July this year.

I had already been playing Guitar Hero 3 for the past year I was ready to move onto the next game.

The kit contains the Game, a Drum Kit that consists of a foot peddle, three drums and two cymbols that have the corresponding colours just like the guitar, a microphone and a guitar controller. The guitar also comes with two sheets of stickers that can be used to make your guitar unique to you. The guitar controller is different to the previous models due to the touch sensitive slide bar that enables you to hit some of the notes without strumming.

The game can be played by all ages featuring levels from super easy to expert - the latter requires you to be able to read Matrix style to keep up with the screen!

You are able to go online if you have your Wii hooked up and play battle or play as a band with people around the world. This feature is great if you don't like playing alone. There are new features too: an Innovative Music Studio where you can compose, record, edit and release your own music,
Battle of the Bands Mode where you can rock out in Solo Career Mode or battle against other four-person bands online and the facility where you can customise your own character.

The format of the game is not a good as the previous Guitar Hero - the songs are provided in blocks as apposed to you being able to choose the order of the song list. The graphics are also not as good as Guitar Hero 3.

There are 86 tracks ranging from the well-known to not so. The quality of the songs are not that great but this may be due to me not knowing many of them.

Overall - a great addition to the GH Series but not one of my favourites.

Summary: Offers hours of gameplay!
