... do on the controller in this game is tap a few buttons. This game is very unsuitable for children as it has very bad instructions from a bunch of talking repetitive penguins. They talk for 5 minutes and any self respecting child would lose his interest by then. The sliding down the icy slope is a concept stolen from Tux Racer. I have seen 5 children try to learn how to play (with me helping them as the in game guide is completely useless) they all failed but might have had some progress if they got a day to play or...more

Wow!! What a fun game for the kids! At first I thought uh-oh..he aint gonna get the hang of this, but in no time at all he was making his way down the icy slopes of the Happy Feet world! The movements with the remote are fairly easy to master, even for a 5 year old, the graphics are good and there are some great sounds. The game is easy and fast moving therefore minimising boredom! Each level is so different to the last, yet all the while it keeps play simple by incorporating new moves through play. Its great to find a game thats so entertaining, especially for all the younger gamers and this is certainly one that they can belt away ...

This game is okay for children and there are different levels of difficulty so can be suited to different skill types. You are a young penguin and finding you way in the world, you work you way around the map and do taks, such as diving and trying to beat the shark and collect prizes, belly sliding down the ice and trying to win races and dancing by copying the moves which flasu up on the screen by using you wii remote. The remote is used well in the game, mostly you have to hold it on its side and tilt it forward and back, which can be frustrating for little children. The graphics are quite good, and a story is told in between each levels where the penguins talk and act ...

Happy Feet is a dancing penguin game, based on the movie. It tries to teach kids to respect their own talents even if they do not fit in with the crowd. If you've seen the movie, you know the storyline. A little penguin is born, is named Mumble, and loves to dance. The other penguins want him to sing and don't appreciate his dancing skills. After ups and downs, all ends up happy and well. The game progresses in a "move from dot one to dot two" style timeline, with you moving from task to task one after another. Each task can be replayed as many times as you wish to get the top score. There are several difficulty levels, so young kids can ...
