Advantages: Same great gameplay as Lego Star Wars

Disadvantages: Fairly Easy

The Lego series of games really are great fun. If you read my review for Lego Star Wars, then you'll know I rate these titles very highly.

Lego Indiana Jones - The Original Adventures for the Nintendo Wii is no exception. The game pays in exactly the same way as the Star Wars version - with puzzles to solve, and Lego tokens to collect - except it's based around the first of the three Indiana Jones films. The most recent film, 'Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' is not included. This is a strange choice, as Lego Star Wars featured all six films to play through.

I'm happy to report that this game retains all the fun of it's predecessor - whilst adding new features. One of the these is the ability to pick up weapons which enemies have dropped - this adds a bit more depth and fun to the gaming experience. The control system remains the same - easy to use, but still without utilizing the motion sensing abilities that Wii is capable of.

The two player mode remains, and is probably the best way to experience Lego Indiana Jones. It's great fun working as a team to solve challenges.

Graphics again are great considering the Wii's limitations. If your Wii is connected via component, and is running in progressive scan mode, you'll see lots of jagged edges - but this is the case with all Wii titles.

I recommend this game for Indy fans, and for those of you who enjoyed the excellent Lego Star Wars. Next up is Lego's interpretation of Batman, which should be great.

Summary: Great for Indy Fans
