Advantages: Simple gameplay, suitable for all, enjoyable with the wii Wheel

What can i say! the BEST game on the WII by far.

Mariokart has been in existence since the N64, and in its latest outing on the WII it has done the game proud.

EVERYONE can play this, and surprisingly even people with little or no interest in 'computer games' love it.

The gameplay is very easy, grab the wheel and turn it to steer, thats it really. However when you have other players doing the same it is a great game. It is playable at anytime and you can play over the internet if you have the capabaility, however the standard 1 player mode is sufficient.

You can pick up and play, so if you have 10 minutes you can play, it doesnt take any time to 'get into'.

The graphics are excellent, nothing too OTT or fancy, just functional which adds to the game play, and the sound again does what it needs to. Playing in Surround sound has basic effects like echo in tunnels/etc, however the joy of the game is its simplicity.

I highly reccomend this game to anyone and should be a feature of any WII owners collection. Who needs realistic graphics and handling, just Yoshi firing shells at Donkey kong in 1st place :)

Summary: a standout game that is fun FUN F_U_N!!!!
