Advantages: anybody can play it (my grandma does)

Disadvantages: makes it easy for beginners and hard for pros

oh my god I love this game. I've had it sinse it first came out and i still play it loads.
There are loads of characters to choose from (of course all the originals are there), adding bikes as well as karts is a great idea, the bikes can do wheelies and the karts can drift.
There are 32 (i think) different tracks all of differing difficulties.
Online gaming is soooooo much fun and really addictive. If you are a beginner their are helpful little boxes along the track, and if you are a pro, these little boxes will not be your friend.
The wheel the game comes with is robust and nice to hold (and helps me to win).
A lot of the tracks are from previous games on the DS and the SNES, but it is a whole different gaming experiences.
You know when you used to play a driving game and you used to tilt the remote to get it to go around a corner - this is what its all about!!!

Summary: so much fun for hours on end
