Advantages: great combination of characters, very versatile game

Disadvantages: I can't get the hang of how to swim!!

Whoever thought it was a good idea to put both Mario characters and Sonic characters together in a game was a genius! The characters blend well together, each character with different abilities and best event.
The game idea is so simple, and I have to admit, I was a bit dubious of the whole thing - I mean, how fun can doing different olympic events over and over again be, especially when lots of the events are very similar? However, my doubts were completely blown away! Me and my friends have spent hours of fun playing this game - looking utterly ridicolous as we pump the remote and nunchuk furiously up and down, from side to side and swinging it round and round our heads!
There are 3 different ways you can play the game - in a single match, in one event with 1-4 players, a circuit, a series of different events with 1-4 players or a mission, where you have to unlock new games and prizes. The only downside is that no matter how hard I try, I cannot get the hang of how you swim! But thats just me being stupid!

Summary: Brilliant as both a multiplayer game and a single player game!
