Stays true to original game (Monopoly (Wii))
Member Name: ktbainbridge
Advantages: Can play one player Disadvantages: Not very different to original, not many added features Monopoly for the wii, is almost as exactly as you would suspect! The game follows the original concept of the board game, whereby you select a piece and roll the dice and then move round the board. The overall aim of the game is to earn / collect as much money as possible as you go. This is carried out by making clever investments in property and then charging others rent as they land on sapces which you own. The graphics are obviously more advanced than the board game and include animated sequences to narate events which happen whilst playing. For me the great advantage of this game is that you can play it as a solo player against the computer, whereas obviously you cannot when you are playing the board game. Just like the board game you can also play this multiplayer. This is a good fun version of the original game, however with little added features. Summary: Monopoly for the wii, not too different, great for one player. |
