Disapointment (Monopoly (Wii))
Member Name: brenroberson
Advantages: Faintly nostalgic Disadvantages: A real let down for someone who has played the board game, limiting. Quite frankly, I prefer the original. Monopoly on the Wii is tiresome, not only because there is too much pointing at the screen. Monopoly board game is very fun, a good tactical game which you play in a group around the table, counting money, making various deals, and bankrupting your friends and family. The Wii just doesn't seem to deliver the same excitement. It is no longer a physical experience, instead you stare at a screen for what seems like hours getting square eyes while around you other people do the same. It just doesn't give you the same fun as the board game! Also, another problem is that, whereas with the board game you could make any deal up for example, one particular person doesn't pay up for landing on this, this and this, on this game, you have to stick to what the computer lets you do. Overall I think your money would be far better off being spent on the actual board game. Summary: Buy the board game instead. |
