Ruthless Family Fun
Member Name: ClaireBelts
Advantages: Great to play and addictive
Disadvantages: Could all end in tears
Monopoly for the Wii has all the fun ruthlessness of the board game, The objective is still to bankrupt your opponents by building as many hotels on your properties as possible.
You can play with up to four players, using four controllers. However, you can also play against the computer, hence no tears tantrums when your opponents go broke.
Before you start the game, you can have some fun by changing the house rules. These include reducing taxes to zero, a free parking rule and increasing the number of houses and hotels that are available to buy. You can also distribute some or all of the properties at the start, if you want a quick game.
Those who have never played monopoly before could easily pick up the rules It is very user friendly and would suit all ages. However the graphics are not spectacular and the music does become annoying.
Overall, I would rate it highly as an addictive, fun wii game.
Summary: A very good Wii Game
