Advantages: Great style of play, similar to actual board game, single play or multiplay

Monopoly on the Nintendo Wii is the Wii's adaptation of the popular board game. Obviously most people do know how the game of Monopoly works, so I will not go into any detail about the objective of the game.

The Wii version of Monopoly has the advantage of being electronic, so the game can be played on a variety of game boards, and the ease of automatic monetary calculations erases the arguments that normally arise when a family gets together for a game of Monopoly. Also, you can pit yourself against the computer if you have no one to play with, which means you can play the game whenever you like. You can set the level of skill at which the computer plays too, to give yourself more or less of a challenge.

The Wii remote and nunchuck make playing the game through a computer console very realistic and enjoyable. For example, shaking the Wii remote acts as rolling the dice, and to release the dice you have to press A. This really does bring the game to life.

The game has a number of additional mini games and varities of the classic game to play. These games add much more depth to the game and allow those who cannot carry on with the main game to continue playing.

Overall, this game is a really nice edition to the classic board game that many people love, so for any fans of the much loved board game it is well worth buying for the Wii. You won't be disappointed with anything in the game.
