... Smash Bros. style gameplay, and that is where the meat of the gameplay for me lies. No doubt Naruto fans will find plenty to enjoy in the fighting, as clearing only the story mode will delight anyone familiar to the series, from its explosive and frenetic matches. Even non-fans will be interested from the sheer epic scope of some of the matchups. Fighting is smooth and fluid, and without hiccups. That is, if you're using a form of control that does not involve the Wii remote. What's special about this Wii iteration of t...more

Premium Review Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution (Wii): Same as it ever was! (1118 words)

Originally written for VGGEN.com. As my Naruto-obsessed friend has shown me, the Naruto fighting titles have simply been newer renditions of themselves over and over throughout the years. This is even reflected through their titles, as there has already been a "Clash of Ninja", and then "Clash of Ninja Revolution". Now, with Clash of Ninja Revolution 2, we're getting a superpowered dose of, well, more of the same. It's apparent that in order to sell a Naruto title to fans like hotcakes, changes do not need to be made. Premium Review OK for Naruto fans, but a tad dull (260 words)

I recently got this game for the Wii and am slightly disapointed, I am a huge Naruto fan and this game was a little dry to say the least. OK OK, so it IS worth playing if you love Naruto just because it has the charactors in it and it is entertaining for about 30 minutes but then it got a bit boring, once you had had a go with each charactor the game became very repetitive. some of the special moves are very annoying such as Shikimaru's which seems to go on and on and is very repetitive. Naruto's special move is ok, and you can shift into demon fox mode too when your energy gets low which is pretty cool, but again, gets a bit boring. the moves are hard to figure out ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution (Wii): Enjoyable for fans (255 words)

Believe it or not i actually thoroughly enjoyed this game for a while. It might help that i'm a huge Naruto fan so i get who everyone is and everything but still. I was really sceptical of playing it since it was my first fighting game on the wii and i wondered if it would work. To my surprise it did. I found it surprisingly fun stringing together all the right combos and unleashing everyone signature moves. It had all the traditional fighting game things as well like unlockable characters and everything. Helped keep me playing for a while. Then you can also unlock the new stages and all the new things like time attack and survival. Then finally theres all ...  Read the complete review

graphics, fun, sound, longativity, variety of cars can get hard, and a bit frustrating if you are not a good driver!

Hmmm.... Poor controls/responsiveness

All up to date, everything is there Disasters too easy to reveal, a bit soporific at times

Cheap and cheerful Can get boring quickly

Very simplistic concept Far too difficult for the average 6 year old to get anywhere
