I have always been a big Mario Brothers fan and for the l;ast few days I have been playing the latest Mario Brothers game on the Wii and it is loads of fun.

It is slightly retro in style and hankers back to the original Mario Bros format as it is a two dimensional platform game, the twist comes on the Wii with the fact that you can have four player fun on it which makes it both good family fun and also quite a lot more challenging as well.

There are three main game options, the traditional levels version, a free roaming option where you choose the level to attempt once you have completed it in normal mode or a coin collect challenge.

Princes Peach has been kidnapped again by the evil Browser and Mario and his friends have to set out to save her, nothing original in all that

The multi play mode is by far the best as then you can work together to complete the levels. This co-operation feature also enables you to access special combination moves that you cannot do on your own, the game play is really easy to pick up and also in multi player mode as long as you all do not die at the same time you never have to go back to the start as you can jump back in at the same point in the level.

The animationis great and very smooth to play and I have not come across and glitches at all, the bosses are challenging enough and the problem solving is good without being impossible.

I is not all button mashing as shaking the remote and you get to perform a spin jump attack otherwise it is buttons and the remote only, there is no need to use the nunchuck in this game.

This is a great game that is pretty accessible for all ages, visually it is pretty cool and I stilll have plenty of play left in the game after a few days of play so it is a good addition to any game collection, not quite as good as Mario Kart but then hat is a special game.
