Advantages: quite addictive, alot of fun

Disadvantages: if you are not a fan of mini games this is not for you

RRR is a spin off from the original Rayman series and was released around about the same time as the Nintendo Wii itself. Unlike usual Rayman games (which are generally platformers) RRR consists of a whole series of mini games, races, and shoot em up levels.

The story mode is the main part of the game, with Rayman being thrown into a Gladiator esq arena and forced to enter 3 of 4 rooms each time to complete the mini games before the big gate opens and allows you to complete the 'boss' type level (race or first person shooter level). The mini games range from dancing, sports, to the just plain funny (like hitting rabbids on their heads as they pop up from mole hills).

The other game mode is Score mode which allows you to replay single or a sequence of games you have already passed. Once you've finished the main story and have everything unlocked this becomes a great feature, allowing you to replay your favourite games over and over, or challenge your mates and laugh at them as they try to pump the 2 parts of the wii remote up and down as fast as they can without going out of sequence.

Although this is a Rayman game, the Rabbids are for sure the stars. Ranging from the cut scene's to the FPS level's the humour is kept up, and is very funny in some moments such as when the Rabbids attack each other.

The controls are easy in most the games (with the most difficult thing being the physical nature of some of the games). The original copy I played of this, when it first came out (one of my friends copies I played alot), had a control problem with one mini game, which involves hitting large radios and then running over to the matching characters and hitting them by shaking the controller, in which 9 times out of 10 it would not work, when I re-purchased this game at the end of '07 it worked perfectly. Whether this was due to a bug being fixed or me just performing the action slightly differently to previously (it didn't feel like I was doing anything differently) I'm not sure.

The audio is very good, with the Rabbids having some very funny saying's and noise's, while the music fits perfectly with the game. Some of the more higher pitched squeals the Rabbids make, however, get pretty annoying after awhile.

Overall RRR is a fine addition to anyone's Wii game collection, but in my opinion it is best played with friends.

Summary: Mini Game Madness, great in 2 player
