Advantages: Unlockables, good gameplay

Disadvantages: No movement controls, little plot

Whether you'll like Resident Evil, Umbrella Chronicles will very much depend on how loyal you are to the style of other Resident Evil games. This is very much an arcade style game rather than a fully immersive video game, with movements undertaken by the game rather than yourself. You do have minimal control over the camera view, but other than that the game moves you along as you finish off the zombies.
I personally enjoyed this game immensely, especially when I wanted a game without too much thought going on. The gameplay is good, and you can run through the whole game more than once, building on headshots earned and new guns unlocked. The bosses at the end of levels are interesting and unique, with specific weak spots you can work on, and they get progressively very hard as the game goes on.
Overall I would recommend this game, but only if you're prepared for a fun arcade game rather than a complicated game with a lot of plot!

Summary: Simple yet fun first person shooter
