They don't need to understand the contents of the game (such as being asked to make a blanching agent!), they just need to be able to follow the simple on screen instructions to hold down the B button and move the Wiimote in circular motions, or press A and then move the Wiimote from side to side etc. That's about all this game involves. Sounds like a bit of a waste of money to some I'm sure, but for our youngster it's been really useful. He hasn't been able to manage any other Wii games except Mario Kart so far...more

Science Papa is for little boys, what the popular Cooking Mama is for girls. It retails at around £10 and is available from many websites for even less. The games doesn't have a whole lot of actual substance, but as far as Wii training games for youngsters - this is one of the good ones. It's main purpose seems to be to get little hands moving around using various Wii techniques, to get them used to the controls. Our grandson has a lot of trouble with his hand-eye co-ordination, and so he really benefits from this. This is one of the few games he can successfully do in fact.
