Advantages: The different modes to the game

Disadvantages: The online lags, a lot

Wow... this game is great but only for a while - like most of the games on wii. I bought this game the day it came out and it was really fun for the first couple of months, but after a while I got bored of the game and I havent played it in a while. The game has many characters to use starting from pikachu from pokemon to samus from metroid and to snake from the metal gear series, characters to suit all the different gaming fans out there. The are many other mini games that you can play in case you get bored of fighting which makes the game even more enjoyable. However, I found a really annoying disadvantage which this game which I will talk about later on in the review.

The two main modes of the game are the story mode and the fighting against other people or the computer mode. The story mode is as expected but it failed to diasppoint, in fact after a while I enjoyed playing the story mode - but it can get repetitive. The more games you play (offline - I think) the more chararcters you unlock - there are also some special characters such as mini link and a few more. There are also some other modes to the game such as the smash the target which is very addictive and makes you very competitive, this mode tests your speed with the character you choose and your ability to use your characters special moves to break the targets - try it out and see how quick you can break targets.

The one major negative to the game was the online mode which lagged a lot, this problem was not only for me it happened to many of friends. As I said before this got really annoying as you really want to test yourself against many other people online. However, when working the online mode is really fun and I would still recommend this game to anyone as it is one of the best games on the nintendo wii.

Summary: Definitely worth buying
