Advantages: Easy to get into - hard to put down. Great storyline, Loads of blood and guts. Goregasms all round!

Disadvantages: None other than slight lag on sprites upon death if you can kill them really fast.

Zombies, zombies, zombies! If you're like me - you like zombies! If this is the case, then you will do anything you can to get your hands on a great zombie game. What more can you say? You will do just about anything to be able to blast and chop your way through a million of them. The zombie bug that bites you is worse than the zombie bite itself!

To be fair, in the eyes of the fans, this game was hyped up so much leading up to its release it was basically lining itself up for a massive fall. A lot of fans who loved the previous House of the Dead games were in two minds (or should that be - 'two brains') about the release of 'Overkill'. All credit to the developers, when this little monster hit the streets it knocked all doubters dead on their feet!

The moment you slam this into your Wii you will be taken on a classic zombie hunt in pure retro style with so much predictable blood and guts to go around. The bloodiest, scariest, sickest and most twisted game of the decade must go to House of the Dead: Overkill. The storyline is fantastic, the music is outstanding, the controls are spot on and the graphics are perfect.

If you have played the previous House of the Dead games, you will be amazed at what they have done with Overkill. If you have yet to venture into the undead domains within the House of the Dead series, then this is a great game to just pick up and get stuck into. If you have never played a shooter game before, the controls are so simple you will pick up your controller (or gun) and the chances are you will be glued to this zombie blast-o-rama for hours!

For all you hardcore gamers out there - there are many weapons and unlocks to keep you playing this gem over(kill) and over(kill) until you can't kill no more! It can be completed in a long session of gaming, but has enough to pull you back in and keep you playing it many times after its completion.

Fans of the genre - your time has come! It's time to lock and load and to get on with the killing!
