Advantages: simple, easy to play fun arcade shoot'em up

Disadvantages: a bit too simple at times, can become boring

House of the Dead, Overkill is a truly ridiculous game, it is alot of fun, but never the less ridiculous. a particular aspect of the game is the aptly named 'Hand Cannon' which replaces the Wii blaster as the weapon of choice, living up to its name due to its huge size, which unfortunately can make it uncomfortable after extended periods of use.
The game play is a typical arcade shoot'em up where you are moved by the computer and all you have to do is point and shoot. this makes for an easy style of gameplay as you only have to worry about the shooting and nothing else.
You play as one of two characters, Detective Washington or Agent G. the aim of the game is to kill as many zombies/mutants as possible while building up combos (gained through not missing). there are a variety of weapons ranging from pistols to assault rifles, shotguns to miniguns.
All in all, the game is a lot of fun to play with friends or on your own. A good, fun simple game that requires minimal thought to play.

Summary: its a good laugh, not a brilliant game but good fun.
