Wii Fit (Wii)
Advantages: Great fun games and excercises that get you off your bum!
Disadvantages: £69 price tag
The Wii itself and now the Wii fit, have revoulutionised gaming. In fact Wii fit isn't a game it part of your life. Once you have Wii fit, you don't look back. Based on you doing a series of excercises and games on the Wii balance bored it claims to get you fitter, charting your BMI, weight, and your Wii fit age (determined by doing 3 excerises to test your agility and balance) to track how you're doing. To 'train' on the Wii board you can do it a number of different ways. I really believe there's something for everyone no matter how fit they are. There's yoga excercises, streching and toning excercises, aerobics (the step aerobics my personal favourite) and mini games such as ski jump, football excercises and even catching fish, with your mii dressed as a penguin! A great ones for kids (and big kids!). I lost a little weight to start but has remained constant since (though I'm probably not as dedicated as I should be), but if nothing else it makes you aware of your weight and fitness, and is great fun to play.
Summary: A real winner of a game
