Wii Fit (Wii)
Advantages: motivatational and fun
Disadvantages: doubt would get that fit from it
My house mate bought one of these in order for us all to loose abit of weight (2 girls 2 boys)!
I am not a fan of exercise and find it a real chore so was interested to see if I would stick to this...and 4 months on I have!
At first it was a bit nerve racking when in front of everyone it weighs you and tells you your wii fit age (I ws about 30 years older than I am!) so dont do the start up in front of anyone if you are shy about your weight. It also gives you a few balance and centre of gravity tests which are good for posture.
Basically it has step aerobics, hula hoop, jogging, boxing (gets you sweaty!), yoga, muscle workouts (stomach crunches etc), ski jump and balance games that work your posture but are made fun!
After each short work out which feels like a game mostly you get a score and a put into a score board with your housemates - this is great as you always want to do it again to beat your or someone elses score! then you get a time of how long your session has been. You can then be weighed etc to see any improvements and also set goals with the 'trainer'.
Overall fab way of getting a bit fitter
