The Wii Fit is the most unique of devices. While people regularly complain that video games turn their kids into couch potatoes, and leave them fixated for hours with their eyes fixed on the screen, the Wii Fit is a videogame that provides exercise. How does that work out? Wii Fit may seem a more costly purchase to your average game, but this is ...  Read the complete review

I've been using the Wii Fit for a few weeks now, and I love it! It consists of a disc to put in the Wii console, and a balance board, which you stand on whilst completing the exercises. Each time you start up the game you can complete a "body test" which weighs you, works out your BMI and also does some balance tests to see how ...  Read the complete review

I ordered my Wii with the sole intention of using it for Wii Fit, to use as part of my new 'I'm gonna lose two stone for summer' plan! The first day it arrived, it was all very exciting, and I spent about three hours on it. The next two weeks followed the same pattern - as soon as the little on was in bed I was straight on the Wii Fit. At first I ...  Read the complete review

I really enjoyed this game, I was a bit hesitant to buy it at first because I was unsure whether I would put it to good use and actually use it, In the end I gave in and bought my copy while they were still in the shops! My husband bought me a WII fit for Xmas as I was pregnant and thought it would be a good way of losing my baby weight. My partners parents purchsed the wii fit when it first came out so it was quite expensive, now it is for sale for about £70 usually in most shops including argos etc. I was always too embarressed to go on the wii itself infront of everyone never mind the wii fit but I always thought it looked fun so when they went on holiday for a week and we ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Wii Fit (Wii)
by - written on 11/07/09
Rating:

Wii Fit is a great new addition to the gaming world and is a whole lot of fun for both men and women. However, it must be said that if you're buying it to seriously lose weight or improve your fitness, it can be hit and miss. Eventually, the novelty wares off and you need to find that elusive willpower to use it.

But as a woman who couldn't really get into other types of gaming systems, the Wii Fit and the Wii machine in general is very enjoyable to use, especially with a bunch of friends.

I had heard some wonderful things about WiiFit, and because I don't like the gym and the weather doesn't always hold out in the UK for outdoor activities I decided to invest in one. It's relatively straightforward to set-up and configure. Before I knew it I was standing on the balancing board, ready to go. I had my doubts about it's ...  Read the complete review

The Wii fit was never really something that took my fancy at first. I mean im a fit young person so thought whats the point. Wii fit takes the Wii a step further... As a console, the Wii is already good for getting you off your sofa, and onto your feet to play video games. We already had a Wii Sporting injury in our household while boxing on Wii Sports, though I maintain the punch wasn't completely accidental! We have already suffered with sore arms the day ...  Read the complete review
