Advantages: Swordplay, Bowling, Table Tennis, Wakboarding, Air Flight, Canoeing, Archery,

Disadvantages: Basketball, Cycling, wii motion plus recallibration, no online

When deciding whether or not to buy this game you're going to want to know if the wii motion plus is as accurate as it advertises and if it actually makes gameplay more fun than the original. But due to the 12 varied activities, the game is a mixed bag.

There are a lot of activities in this game which get quite tedious and repetitive. Basketball has you just raising the wiimote and thrusting it forward repeatedly. Cycling has you just shaking the wiimote and nunchuck in unison to gather momentum. It's these games you won't be playing very often.

There are also a few games that are fun, but don't use the wii motion plus very well. Wakeboarding was simply tilting the wiimote side to side to steer where your surfboard went and thrusting it forward whenever a wave was coming. Fun, but simple.

However; swordplay, archery, bowling and canoeing work very well. Swordplay is quite accurate but I found that the game occasionally didn't correspond to where my Wii remote was. This got quite frustrating. Archery was interesting and fun, but I didn't think it utilized the motion plus as well as it could have. You are meant to pull the nunchuck back, but I found out that you didn't have to pull it all the way back to your shoulder. Bowling makes a return and the motion plus really helps it and it is now a solid experience. Canoeing was very accurate but it wasn't as fun as table tennis. I found table tennis to be very addictive. This part of the game is the most realistic tennis experience to date. Playing with friends is great too.

No online support unfortunately, but this game acts as a good tech demo for motion plus games to come. If you loved the original, you'll love this even more.

Summary: A worthy successor to a popular game
