Fun for all the family. This really is a game that 8 to 80 year olds can play. We got this game as part of the package when we bought our Nintendo Wii and it has been great. On Easter day we had a bowling tournament with 8 people, including my nephews and their grandmother and she beat us all! Wii sports has 5 games you can choose from, tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing. It also offers to challenge modes, Wii training where you basically do as the name suggest train in the different games so you can become an expert. For example, the tennis training allows you to practice you swing and returning of the ball to get you up to speed when you play an ... Read the complete review

As this is my first review on a game for the Wii, and as I hope to do many more, I shall start with a bit of background to my decision to purchase the console itself. It is fair to say I have been slacking when it comes to hardcore gaming. In fact, the last console I could call my own was a Sega Master System which I played until the controllers bled from their sockets! I won an Xbox in a competition in L.A., and shipped it home. What I fool I had been. It was the American version and it needed chipped for UK games. I sold it on to my brother-in-law. I thought fate was dictating that I should never own a modern day console again. The nearest I got was ... Read the complete review

If you're thinking of purchasing a Nintendo Wii then you will want to know what the included Wii Sports pack has to offer. Wii Sports is bundled with every Wii console and includes a compilation of 5 multiplayer games consisting of Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf and Boxing. All game modes offer you the chance to set records by getting the best possible score every time you play. The games are designed to bring out the best in the Wii remote in terms of performing swings and throws etc. They are also designed as being fun party games so don't expect too much of a single player mode on these as this is better kept for dedicated sports ... Wii sports is the perfect company for your brand new wii console and will also help to teach you to use the revolutionary new wii remote which senses motion in 3 dimensions. Best of all its free...sort of. The game comes in a little blue card cover with the rest of your wii console so it is a freebie but im sure a few pence from each console say go to its costs. This is probably one of the first games people play on the wii and therefore their first impression of the new console, and what a great impression it makes. Even though the graphics might not be as good as on the ps3 and xbox 360 this game is just simply fun. Or to be more correct very very very very ... Read the complete review
