Advantages: Replayable. Fun. Very useful. Good mini games and good graphics.

Disadvantages: Time spent each session can be fairly short.

Wii sports accompanies every wii that is bought in the UK. Thats right...Its free. But before we all rush to buy one consolidating ourselves that it is one way to beat the credit crunch. We must ask ourselves, is it free for a reason?

Wii sports comes with five different games,

Boxing
Golf
Baseball
Tennis
Bowling

These are all very enjoyable and really show off what the wii is capable off to the new owners. However i would argue that, it is all that it is purposed for. You would not really be ably to spend a night with friends playing this with pizza. As the games, which start of VERY fun soon diminish. On the other hand though...its free, fun and well made. So perhaps i am been a little hard on this game.

The tennis, boxing and baseball are my favourites. As the others are a bit to slow paced for me, especially one player. But no, for a game that comes with the console, this is good and really helps the give the wii owner a sense of what games they want to buy before they panic buy a tonne of games they don't like as they fought the 'idea' of them was good.

However, if you are considering buying a wii, using the term 'well it does come with a game already' be careful as the wii ports will only offer some on and off light enterainment. Even though that half hour is a whole lot of fun.

Nintendo have got it right in everyway here, as the wii sports does everything to help the gamer which games they want to buy, and do it a very fun way. A way nintendo are becoming increasingly known for.
