Advantages: Great fun for all the family

Disadvantages: Golf is terrible

When the Nintendo Wii first came out this game came with it and after the years have gone by it is still a top game to get the laughs going with family and friends.
The game is split into 5 sports.
Tennis is for one to four players, in one player mode you are up against to computer, you swing for both your players the one at the net and the one at the back, timing is quite easy and a power shot can be acheived at service if you get it correct, once you beat the computer your ranking goes up and the next game will be harder, in two payer the screne is split diagnally and again you control both your men, your do not get ranked on these games, for the four player the screen is still just split in two this time you are the back player or front player this changes through the game giving turns to serve. The options are single game, best of three or best of five. This is a very good game with good control on the ball as your skills develope curving the ball and timing it to hit in differant directions makes it into a game of skills.

Baseball is for one or two players only although you could make up teams and pass the pad, this is quite a difficult one to get to grips with often missing and hitting the ball behind yourself, once mastered it is very good, the computer starts of easy to beat but quickely as your ranking goes up becomes very hard to beat, to hit the ball just swing the wiimote like a bat, and to bowl just swing your arm, two player mode is a bit spoilt as the controler can be used to give swingballs and curveballs using the D-pad or high and low by using the plus and minus buttons, this makes it impossible to hit, this is best played in one player mode.

Bowling is by far the best game on this, just like real bowling you can curve the ball with a twist of your wrist, swing the Wiimote whilst holding the B button and let go at the end of your swing simple, you can move your man left or right to were suits your swing best, by pressing the A button you can set the direction your man stands facing slightly left or right. this is the easiest game for the young and old non gamers to pick up. Nock down the pins get them all down in one shot get a strike its as simple as that, in one player you are just up against you previous score.

Golf as a golfer I was looking forward to this but this is by far the worst game on the disc, play one to four players, choices are beginner, intermediate, expert or 9 holes, very inaccurate, the fun stops very quickely as you have to wait for other players to finish the hole, 12 shots is the maximum per hole but this can take an age with the extra graphics between shots. Simply hold the A button and swing.

Boxing a nunchuk is required for this or two if playing a friend, this again has not got the greatest of accuracy but far better than in the golf, simply hold the Wiimote and nunchuk in each hand and punch, holding them near your chest will help soften the blows or dodge from left to right, this is very fun, this will get the grown men to show there competitive side, a few rounds on this gets the blood pumping, you get three round in which to nock out your opponent or if you both survive the three rounds the winner is the one with the most points.

There is also fifteen training games three in each category, these are very good even the golf ones are reasonable these need unlocked this is done by playing the ones available.

The other option is the Wii fitness test this is not accurate in the least, your are given three of the training games to play and they work out your fitness age, with a small diagram showing your balance, speed and stamina Im great in all three and Im 21, yep 20 years younger. I wish.

Summary: Hours and hours of fun well worth the money
