We've had a Wii for quite some time. There are a number of games out there that I enjoy playing, but I have never owned a snooker game before. At first I was a little concerned about the enjoyment I would get out of this game, after all watching snooker can be very dull, but once I got into it I was hooked.

The snooker game itself is a bit above average. It is the snooker cue attachment that comes with the game that makes it brilliant. Simply add the attachment to a standard Wii controller and you are ready to go. Mimic the action of a real snooker player, without the hassle of a long cue. Its brilliant fun and makes the game feel very realistic.

I managed to get the game, withe Wii cue attachment from PLay.com for just £12.99. Brilliant value, when you consider you can use the attachment for other cue game, such as pool, or other version of the snooker game.

The snooker game graphics are pretty good. The view you get of the table is excellent when taking a shot. You are able to put all the necessary types of spin on the ball, as you would in a proper game of snooker. This where real life snooker players will have an advantage.

The major downside to this game, like all sports games, is the annoying commentary you get with it. It is very repetitive and very frustrating. My advise is to turn it off at the menu screen.

I recommend this purchase for all snooker and pool fans out there. It is great value. I award it four out of five Dooyoo stars
